February 17-25, 2018

Specific Location TBD | Coast or rainforest

These well-organized trips are sponsored through the Hands for Health Foundation and Adopt a Village, both from Colorado. Dr. Camille Bentley has been working in this country for only a few years, but has personally organized over 50 successful medical outreach campaigns to the indigenous of many countries.  All outreach campaigns are done in conjunction with local governments and health department requesting our help.

Dr. Bentley is full-time faculty and Director of Medical Outreach at Rocky Vista University, so the trips provide an international experience for their medical students. Licensed Physicians, PA’s, nurses and others are needed to precept the students as they work with the patients.    We focus on providing basic primary care to all ages, simple laboratory, reading glasses to those in need and meds when appropriate. When available we will also provide dental, osteopathic manipulation and have use of a portable ultrasound machine.   Interested Health Care providers must be approved by the MOH of Ecuador to work in this country.  It requires providing an “Apostille” from your licensing state a few months in advance of the trip dates.
